- 01What is Strumly?
- Strumly is a 24/7 AI guitar coach. It listens to you play, scores your changes in real time, remembers what you worked on, and comes back the next session with the next thing to practice.
- 02Is Strumly free?
- During early access every standalone tool is unlocked free — metronome, strumming trainer, chord library, scale trainer, transpose tool, songs, backing tracks, ear trainer, looper, Amp Lab, and bench diagnostic. The coach includes 3 focused sessions per month with persistent practice memory. Pro is available now for $19.99/month with up to 200 coached responses every 30 days and every tool included. The separate one-time toolkit pass is not available yet.
- 03What does Pro add over free?
- Plan visibility. Free tells you how you did today: every session is measured, and the coach can cite your last 7 days of practice history. Pro tells you whether you're getting better: your full history, the trend on every chord change, and an assignment that carries into the next session. Nothing is deleted on free — upgrading restores the whole record instantly, because it was always being kept.
- 04Where should a beginner start?
- With the free course: a guided path that runs from Foundations through Repertoire & tone and ends at Train with the coach, using the free tools at every step. No account needed until you want the coach to remember you.
- 05What does a coaching session actually do?
- You play, Strumly listens and scores your changes in real time, and it remembers what you worked on so the next session picks up where you left off instead of starting over.
- 06Can AI agents use Strumly?
- Yes. The Agent API is a pay-per-call music oracle for agents (x402 on Base or Stripe), covering coach queries, song analysis, chord-progression transcription, and practice plans. Every agent gets 5 free calls a day to try it cold before paying per call.
- 07Who builds Strumly?
- Strumly is built by Suede Labs AI, founded by Jason Colapietro, as part of Suede's creator-ownership infrastructure for musicians.
