What we collect

When you create an account, Clerk stores your email, password hash, and any OAuth-provider profile data you grant. When you talk to the coach, we store the text messages, generated session summaries, and chord-drill scores you produce. Your skill level, goals, gear, and weak/strong spots get patched into your profile so the coach can reference them next session.

Audio

Chord-drill scoring runs entirely in your browser. The audio captured by your microphone is processed by an on-device chromagram + chord matcher inside a Web Worker. No audio leaves your device.Only the resulting numeric score (success rate, timing offsets per beat) is sent to our server.

Who we share it with

  • OpenRouter / model providers — your conversation messages are sent to the LLM provider so the coach can respond. We use OpenRouter as a router across providers; the underlying model can change.
  • Clerk — handles your authentication.
  • Neon Postgres — stores your profile, session log, drill results, and usage counters.
  • Stripe (via Clerk Billing) — handles Pro subscriptions if you upgrade. We never see your card number.

Your data, your choice
